Do good intentions excuse bad actions?/Buona intenzione giustifica cattiva azione?

(EN)  Latest stencil by ABOVE is causing different reactions in the viewers. Some of them don’t like the idea of the aggression, some others love the “stealing to the rich to give to the poor” concept. For sure the stencil changed the usual perception of that particular corner in Lisbon. (IT) L’ultimo lavoro di ABOVE sta causando reazioni disparate. Alcuni non apprezzano l’idea dell’aggessione, altri adorano il concetto del “rubare ai ricchi per dare ai poveri”. Di sicuro lo stencil ha cambiato la percezione di chi è passato per quell’angolo di Lisbona.

The latest number contains a useful infographic explaining the different paths of the USA immigration process. Nel 2004 si fece notare per una campagna marketing particolare: spedii la copia della rivista ai suoi 40mila abbonati, con la copertina personalizzata dalla foto della loro casa dal satellite… L’ultimo numero contiene un’infografica per districarsi nel complesso processo di immigrazione negli Stati Uniti Ce ne vorrebbe una così per ogni paese del mondo!

(EN) That’s what the world is for the american architect and futurist Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller who, in 1946 created and patented the Dymaxion map of the Earth, a projection of a global map onto the surface of a polyhedron. I was reminded of this map by the notes from the panel Cartography of Protest and Social Changes at the Conflux Festival, taken by one of the explorers of we-make-money-not-art.
